How much does signing up cost and what are the commissions?
Signing up is free in every country. Two pricing models depending on your market:

🇸🇳 🇨🇮 Senegal / Côte d'Ivoire: shop subscription of 2 000 FCFA/month (first month free) + 2 % commission per sale. You keep 98 % of the amount. Automatic Wave payouts.

🇫🇷 🇮🇹 🇪🇸 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 🇿🇦 International: no subscription, 5 % commission per sale. You keep 95 % of the amount. Automatic bank payouts via Stripe.

No hidden fees in either case.
How long before I can start selling?
Senegal / Côte d'Ivoire (Wave): your account is activated within 24 to 48h after your Wave number is verified.

International (Stripe): Stripe identity verification usually takes 5 to 15 minutes. Once approved, you can start selling immediately.
Which documents do I need to provide?
For Wave (SN / CI): your active Wave number is enough. Identity verification is handled by Wave.

For Stripe (International): ID document (passport, ID card or driver's license), recent proof of address, and the IBAN/account details of your bank account.
When do I receive my money?
Wave: automatically after every sale, within seconds (95% of the amount).

Stripe: daily transfer to your bank account (T+1 business day for the Euro zone/UK, T+2 for US/ZA).
Can I sell services and not just products?
Yes. Konekta welcomes physical product shops (food, fashion, electronics, bookstores, pharmacies, etc.) and service businesses (restaurants, click & collect, service stations). Choose your category when signing up.
My country isn't listed, what should I do?
Select the closest country in the "Coming soon" markets list (Morocco, Nigeria) to join the waitlist. We open new markets regularly. For urgent requests, write to contact@mdaiservices.com.
